I decided to make another page for my MOTHER AND CHILD sketches.... , as I am really determined
to make a nice collection of this...
So I grabbed my favorite 045 REYNOLDS black ballpen and started scribbling.....
YES !!! I am using an ordinary writing pen for my artworks.....
So for a start..., I posted my very first opus here.., done on the 1st day of January, Year of the Tiger, 2010....
ENJOY !!!
I am beginning to see the core of my individuality as an artist...
I have browsed at several pictures and paintings from the net..., comparing my work to theirs....
I see some similarities when it comes to expressing love and passion in this kind of art....some i find impressive..., but some i find plain.... just "pictures" of the mother and child.., nothing special....
I am not saying that my work is the best, or even greater ...It's not even perfect..., but I love what I do...
In this work, I see some imperfections regarding the anatomy...
haha.., I did this with my tummy lying flat on the bed...so at a short distance, I thought it was ok..... but when I finished this, I stood up and saw this from a distance, I noticed that the right arm of the mother was short....
Anyways, despite of this, I am happy about it because I discovered my sense of style and originality...
I always want to express love and care
in all of my works....,which is also present in other artists' works......
But after doing this.... I realized that it is not enough....
Gazing at this picture..., I noticed that I have exaggerated the folds of the cloth...
But I have loved the effect..., it adds softness to the picture..,
most of all, it brought the essence of COMFORT inside the mother's arms....
Thus by adding this "flavor"...., it gave my work a COMPLETE LOOK.....,
such renditions with the essence of love, passion, all wrapped up with comfort....
THIS IS MY STYLE....MY ORIGINALITY as a "MOTHER and CHILD" artist....
I would definitely want to be known for it....
