IN A LOVING MOTHER'S ARMS

THERE'S NO OTHER PLACE ON THIS WORLD WHICH IS SAFER, MORE COMFORTING AND A LOT SOOTHING THAN BEING WRAPPED IN A LOVING MOTHER'S ARMS....

IT'S TOTALLY A COMPLETE BLISS !!!

I find a lot of nice, cute, and heart-warming pictures from the net... Those that become my instant personal favorite
because they are worth  seeing...., and truly, simply...,
ONE OF A KIND !!!

Enjoy !!!

Basically..., I am a feline lover....., when i saw this pic from the net, I couldn't help to say "WOW".... There is something in that kitten that touched me...I felt something was melting  deep inside my heart..., unexplainable..., but i know, it gave me such mirth....

This little flower seems like giggling...what a sight !!!
How did it become special to me?... Well..., mothers are like sunshine..., they give us warmth as we are nourished by their tender care....

Mothers are our CONSTANT GUIDE in all walks of life...They are our MOST-TRUSTED COMPANIONS who never get tired of being with us in all kinds of situations..., good or bad....

PICTURES , QUOTES AND POETRY

 I LOVE PHOTOSHOP !!!

Since i learned how to use the PHOTOSHOP...,  I   have liked   editing and manipulating ordinary pictures.., creating them as a  new form of ART and expression....

Internet has become a part of my life , and browsing on it has been my favorite past time ever since I became addicted to the computers....

Here you will see  my passion in expressing my art with the use  of this technology... Most of the pictures here have touched my  soul, so  I decided to pick them from the net and give them a  "personalized"  new look...., and, by adding POETRY...,  they  will  surely leave a blissful smile to our hearts.....

    I hope you like them....

I have liked the face of this mom while gently laying her cheek against the tender face of her infant... there is so much joy in her eyes and overwhelming passion in her lips as she expresses her heart-warming love on her baby....

Of all the pictures from the net that I've seen.., this is my no.1 favorite....the picture says it all..., the sheer joy of motherhood...., expressed with an over-flowing love from her heart and soul....

MOTHERS ARE THE SWEETEST
 ~Nick Gordon~

Our mother is the sweetest and
Most delicate of all.
She knows more of paradise
Than angels can recall.

She's not only beautiful
But passionately young,
Playful as a kid, yet wise
As one who has lived long.

Her love is like the rush of life,
A bubbling, laughing spring
That runs through all like liquid light
And makes the mountains sing.

And makes the meadows turn to flower
And trees to choicest fruit.
She is at once the field and bower
In which our hearts take root.

She is at once the sea and shore,
Our freedom and our past.
With her we launch our daring ships
Yet keep the things that last.

A WONDERFUL MOTHER
 .

GOD made a wonderful mother,
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine,
And He molded her heart of pure gold;
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars,
In her cheeks, fair roses you see;
God made a wonderful mother,
And He gave that dear mother to me.

I'D GIVE MY LIFE FOR YOU

You who I cradled in my arms.
You,
Asking as little as you can.
Little snip of a little man,
I know I'd give my life for you.

You didn't ask me to be born
You,
Why should you learn of war or pain?
To be sure you're not hurt again,
I swear I'd give my life for you.

I've tasted love beyond all fear.
And you should know it's love that brought you here.
And in one perfect night,
When the stars burned like new,
I knew what I must do.
I'll give you a million things I'll never own.
I'll give you a world to conquer when you're grown.

You will be who you want to be.
You
Can choose whatever heaven grants.
As long as you can have your chance,
I swear i'll give my life for you.

Sometimes I wake up, reaching for him.
I feel his shadow brush my head,
But there's just moonlight on my bed.
Was he a ghost?
Was he a lie,
That made my body laugh and cry?
Then by my side the proof I see, his little one.
Gods of the sun,
Bring him to me.

You will be who you want to be.
You,
Can choose whatever heaven grants.
As long as you can have your chance,
I swear i'll give my life for you.

No one can stop what I must do.
I swear i'll give my life for you.

A MOTHER'S TOUCHING STORY

Nothing in this world can ever match the unparalleled love of a MOTHER for her children...
Whenever I think of the word "LOVE" ......, this is the first thing that comes to my mind: the picture of a mother cradling her baby in her arms while humming ...,or softly singing the sweetest lullabyes from her heart....
A Mother is often referred to as the "LIGHT OF THE HOME".... , she is our first teacher who teaches us how to talk and recognize things...., and like a resplending LAMP, she guides us and keep us safe from harm....... but when somebody tries to hurt us, only then she becomes a fierceful TIGRESS in the defense of her children....

I LIKE MOTHERS......and I LOVE MY MOM....

I came from a poor family without a father for some years because my parents were separated when I and my brothers were still kids...My mom used to work as a teacher with a petty salary, and we had tough times back then when it comes to finances... I used to regret being born in my family because I was envious about my classmates who were dressed well, had nice things, amazing toys and with yummy foods in their lunch boxes... I used to pity my self....
My family became whole again, then my dad went abroad for several years, came home, had a new bigger house built..., then my elder brother died the time I became a freshman in college..., that time my father was also sick...and became worse.....till he left us .... and then only three of us were left.... My younger brother graduated from highschool but he had to stop proceeding to college because our mom won't be able to support us both...... I know it's hard for her to do that...,we know, every mother wants the best for her children... but to console him, he encouraged him to take up a vocational course for the meantime, eventhough it would cause her to work MORE......
After teaching in school, she just sipped a cup of coffee and do some home tutorial class in our home for some students...at the same time, she was looking after the rice that was being cooked on the stove.... She didn't want to bother us because we were also busy with or school works... After the tutorials, she would be busy in the kitchen cooking our meal, and we often eat at 9 or 10 pm in the evening.... Then she would sit again and do some lesson plans for her job the next day.....she would sleep at 2:00 am and then wake up @ 4:00 am....preparing our breakfast, fixing herself... and heading for her job.... That's her routine........
I never made it to the graduation because i lacked BMOCC, it's like a military training course which i truly truly hated.....my brother was sent to college and graduated as a Magnacumlaude in his university...,making my mom very proud...., and me , as well...
That time I got fed up with my art jobs..., so I decided to take up some vocational course...I managed to finish it .....she retired teaching in the public schools...., got her retirement fees....paid her bundles of debts....and used some of her remaining money to support me with my business.....

After some months, she got bored doing nothing at home....she was missing her routines...and her job.... she loved kids....their noises...most of all..,teaching...it was her passion... so to cut it short, she went back teaching, but in a private school......till the day that she became sick........her body slowly giving up... she became thinner and thinner....but she refused to have a check up in the hospital....
I remember she used to have myoma, or a cyst in the ovary before...she looked pale and often, after teaching from school she just lie down on a sofa for some hours..., then cook our meal afterwards... The next day, she attended the meeting of all the school teachers from various schools in our district then conducted a seminar....as she proceeded on her demonstration, some teachers noticed some drops of blood on the floor....she just ignored it , wiped them with some tissues then continue what she was doing....

One of the teachers who attended the seminar was my cousin..., she knew something was wrong with my mom.... she asked her that she will accompany her to the hospital....My mom refused.., but my cousin was insistent.... So she just asked some help from her co-teachers who had a vehicle to give them a lift then headed to the hospital.....She was confined there and some operations happened....

The doctors said it was a cyst in her ovary, it was big, almost like the size of an adult's head.... She had a cancer....

She was feeling the pain.., but she refused to look weak...,she didn't want us to worry ...If we asked her if something is wrong with her, she would just say she would just take a nap and after waking up, she would be fine again... She hated hospitals because she hated the bills..., remembering how my father frequently being sent to hospital because of his illness.., and thinking that we lack money for it....

The operation was successful, followed by some chemotheraphy....and then she was back in her feet again....but then, she did not do any follow ups for the check up after some years....

She continued doing her job, ignoring the pain...., was confined to a hospital for a week...., then she was ok again....we had great great debts to my aunt, her elder sister, and to my grandmother who financed the hospital bills... so everything was settled, and we thought everything was ok.....3 days after being well, something went wrong, she couldn't eat well..., whenever she ate she vomitted hardly.... She was lying on a sofa in our living room, I was in my room awakened by the sound of her puke... So I hurriedly went out and rubbed her back..., she told me , "why is it like this?...I thought I was alright"....I noticed there was pain in her eyes... I asked her that we would take her back to the hospital..... Again she refused....she asked me to just take her to the room... she said she wanted to rest there.... after an hour I went to her room to check her condition..., she was holding her cellphone and texting my relative who manages our apartments, inquiring if the people there have paid the rental fees.... I told her I would cook a porridge for her...and she nodded...
So I proceeded to the kitchen and cooked it..., after a while I went back to my room...I heard a deep sigh from my mom's room but I ignored it..., I thought she just yawned...., coz that's how she does that...

Moments later, my grandmom came and headed to her room..., she is sooo caring.., whenever any of us is sick, she doesn't leave us..., she likes stroking the hair, rubbing the feet and simply watch over beside the bed....
I heard her calling me from my mom's room, asking for a blanket and a pair of socks... I came out of my room and headed there because i remember i have to give medicine to my mom also... I saw my grandmother rubbing the feet of my mom and she asked me again to get a pair of socks because she told me that my mom's feet were feeling cold.....I touched the foot of my mom.....and it was cold...

Suddenly it made me nervous..., I looked at my mom and watch her chest carefully...It was not moving....I checked her wrist to feel the pulse...and put my index finger near her nose to feel if there was a sign of air coming out... then my hands started trembling and hurriedly picked up the phone from my room , calling up my aunt who used to be a nurse..., I told her with a shaky voice that my mom was gone...

My younger brother did not know about this.., that time he was working in Saipan...Since the time our mother became sick , i took a leave from my work, served as her angel and never left her side.... My mom proudly told this to her co -teachers and to anyone who visited her in our home.....But i never knew about this....I just found out about it in the wake , when all of them fondly chat with me, expressing sympathy....
Almost every hour , i was crying..., especially when i remember the time of my father's burial.., she was weeping soooo hard , looking at us, expressing pity for our condition..., she lost her partner in life ,,,and eventually felt helpless....Her main concern was the future of her sons....she said in grieve that she only wanted a great future for us..., knowing that we dont have wealth.., the only thing that she could impart to us is a good education....
I could never ever forget the sight of her face in the coffin... she looked peaceful...but there was a tear from her right eye....

I knew she gave EVERYTHING for us, even in her last ounce of strength...., I knew she was still thinking of us till the very last moment of her breath.......

...And FOR THE LAST TIME ..., SHE CRIED FOR US........BECAUSE I KNOW......SHE WANTED TO GIVE MORE........

.....Pausing for some time....I tried to reminisce my childhood life..... Yeah...it wasn't that good..., it wasn't that fun and happy as compared to other children who were lucky to be wealthy

....I came from a poor family......but I am not regretting about it anymore....After I have pondered the life, UNPARALLELED LOVE and sacrifices of my mother for us....till her very last moment....it made me realize that I am EXTREMELY very lucky for having the privilege of living with such a WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL MOM.... that unknowingly, i had with me the most PRECIOUS JEWEL in the world that anyone could ever treasure....

I LOVE YOU MOM.........YOU WILL ALWAYS BE IN MY MIND AND IN THE MOST SPECIAL PLACE IN MY HEART FOREVER...

MY MOTHER AND CHILD ARTWORKS

Ever since my mom died… …. I have grown more attached to the mothers….. During my young years as an artist, I often have the fondness of making “MOTHER AND CHILD” as my favorite theme when making artworks… .., and for every piece that I make…, I see to it that I reflect the love and passion of a loving mom to her baby…

My art has been influenced by the works of some renaissance artists like Raphael and Michaelangelo…., enhanced by my college professor in Fine Arts.., Mr Robert Ko, from the Far Earstern University…, who taught me the importance of lines, and the “character” that they convey when making the sketches….

My mom has been my constant inspiration in everything that I do…… My works simply reflect her overwhelming love that she gave to us……

Thus.., I dedicate my humble opuses in the loving memory of my mother .., a woman of strength and of courage, whose great sacrifices for raising us marked my heart with such undying emblem.., symbolizing all the traits and character of what a perfect mother should be….

I LOVE YOU MOM…. FOREVER….

THE ULTIMATE FORM OF LOVE

Nothing can ever beat, surpass, nor match the picture of a mother holding her precious baby or child… I find much BEAUTY in it…, nourished with  such passion which you can only find from the depths of a mother’s heart…….It is the ULTIMATE FORM OF LOVE I’ve ever seen….

If God expresses his smiles through the beauty of flowers, He then expresses His overwhelming LOVE through the arms of a loving
mother…

(...... the picture I used in this article, "The Ultimate Form of Love", is not my work, but from some artist who posted it in  the net, courtesy of the Google search... I like this picture, I feel like sharing it... )
